We are a small business based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We understand the essential role of artwork in interior design, especially in office and healthcare environments. Our goal is to help you find the artwork that you seek, making the process enjoyable and seamless.

Our Story

Art Consulting Services was founded by Kay and Jerry Tiedt in the early 1990’s. An artist herself, Kay developed many relationships with local artists and became a trusted source for interior designers. Jerry handled all of the art framing and installation with years of expertise. Kay and Jerry retired in 2010.

Art Consulting Services resumed in May 2019 and we picked up where Kay and Jerry left off. Having worked with Kay and Jerry throughout the years, Emily and Jeanine have an understanding of the many facets of art consulting. Together, we continue to provide an established level of service with a fresh perspective today. Emily’s background in art includes a BFA from Michigan State University and an MFA from Kendall College of Art and Design. Jeanine is an artist and photographer, and possesses many years of experience in fine art printing. Aaron joined the team as the lead on framing and installation.
